The following table shows the pay and benefits paid to cement mason apprentices. This pay scale is effective July 1, 2004.

50%

First Period

0-1000 Hours Worked

$13.17 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues, all of which is paid on the check. No Trust fund contributions are made at this percentage.

65%

Second Period

1001-2500 Hours Worked

$17.11 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues, all of which is paid on the check, except (.55 per hour Supplemental Dues) which is deducted after taxes and remitted to the trust fund. Health Benefits are also remitted at this percentage.

70%

Third Period

2501-3500 Hours Worked

$18.43 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues. ($3.05 Vacation and Supplemental Dues are deducted after taxes and remitted to the trust fund with health benefits.)

80%

Fourth Period

3501-4500 Hours Worked

$21.06 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues. ($3.05 Vacation and Supplemental Dues are deducted after taxes and remitted to the Trust Fund with Health and Pension benefits.)

90%

Fifth Period

4501-5000 Hours Worked

$23.69 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues. ($3.05 Vacation and Supplemental Dues are deducted after taxes and remitted to the Trust Fund with all Trust Fund contributions.)

Journeyman

$26.33 per hour. Includes base pay rate plus Vacation and Supplemental Dues. ($3.05 Vacation and Supplemental dues are deducted after taxes and remitted to the Trust Fund with all Trust Fund contributions.)


All rates posted above are valid through June 30, 2005. When apprentice is approved for percentage increase, the contractor will be notified by the Apprenticeship Coordinator.
